pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany Sep 6, 2008 Bottle (purchased at the former brewery in Roding): Deep golden, lively carbonation, bigger stable fluffy white head; sweetish-grainy nose with a distinctive hoppy touch; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; short sweet-malty, almost toasted malt in the finish. Good Helles with a fine hoppy touch........... MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Jul 12, 2008 (bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly biscuity malty aroma with citrus-fruity and spicy, almost a bit ethereal hoppy notes. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated, slightly crispy mouthfeel. Malty, slightly strawy malty taste with herbal and spicy hoppy notes, getting a bit overstressed towards the slightly sticky finish. Not perfectly rounded but drinkable (05.07.08).
