Bottled. Clear pale amber, no head. Vague caramel aroma. Medium bodied with clean hard mouthfeel and low bitterness. Notes of marzipan, but overall it makes a lifeless impression.

33cl bottle; Clear, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet bready and slightly toasted malty aroma with light notes of caramel and herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Cara-malty, slightly toasted taste with shy hints of nuts and marzipan; sweet and slightly bitter malty finish with a light but still present herbal hoppy touch. Solid Festbier/Märzen 19.VIII.09

Bottle:Deep golden, medium sized off-white head; moderate sweet-malty nose touched by hops and toasted malt; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; almonds or marzipan in the slightly lingering sweet-bitter finish. A quite complex goody....

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear, deep golden-brownish colour, mid-sized beige hgead. Fruity nose. Intensively malty with some fruity hints and nutty flavours, as well as good aromatic hops. A well-balanced and really pleasant brew.
