Doughy yeast reigns and spiciness remains humble, as a fruit salad topped with brown sugar latches on to this pillowy Belgian Strong Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam lingers atop the foggy dark amber.
-Alcohol is expertly hidden.
-The finish is a slightly softer version of the flavor profile.
-If the doughy yeast component were taken out, there wouldn’t be much to say about this one.
-All flavors remain well integrated, and the spiciness is delicate enough not to be named.

Yeasty and wine aroma tempered by sweet apricot and grapes notes. The taste adds malty sweetness and licorice. Tastes a bit thinner but the balance is good. Spicy and drinkable, with a good hoppy and slightly bitter finish. Nice winter warmer. Wim (1294), Turnhout, Belgium

Good qualities as expected in a finely crafted beer of its ilk, spiciness and some fine fruity esters. Caramel and plum pudding in the aftertaste and good balance.
