| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 1, 2005 Updated: Dec 2, 2005Bottle. Nice colour - nice head! I’m sure that I can smell some sort of sweet washing detergent in this beer! Maybe it’s just candy or chewing gum? The yeast is there, both in aroma and flavour. Has a sour finish to it, which works quite well for this beer. It’s not like any other brune I’ve tasted, but it has something to it, that just makes it worth tasting...it’s like licking on fungus infected wood (don’t ask me how I know, what that tastes like). I’d like to taste this beer after a few years of maturing....perhaps the fungus would then have some hallucinogenic effect?
