Bottle @ YNWA, as Gribousine Mallone Blonde. Pours a deep light orange with a small staying film head with plenty of lacing. Aroma is powerful, spicy and with herbs as well. Coriander, vanilla and a youghurt feel. Very nice, full mouthfeel. Flavour is not sour as I expected, more like sweet and spicy. It does finish on a light sour note though. Good beer!

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris O’s Shindig. Gold colour with a slight haze. Thin white head. Farty and sulphuric nose. Dull blonde in the mouth. Yeast, salt and pepper and rather boring.

Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. Haze pale gold, lasting white head. Strong Belgian yeast aroma. It’s pretty standard in the strong Belgian ale style, which I like, but it’s not terrific.
