Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 26, 2005 Updated: Jun 14, 2005(Bottle 50 cl) Very typically Hefeweizen by German standards. Orange - or pehaps straw-golden colour, hazy with a very white head. Very soft, a bit low in carbonation, very fruity and very fresh. An excellent Weizen. 050503 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden May 14, 2002 Comes out mustard yellow and very hazy with rich head. Nice estery banana aroma. Softly malty, vanilla flavour, slightly sweet. A very refreshing and well made hefeweizen. Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 12, 2007 Lightly hazy straw colour. The aroma is wheaty, lemony with a light hint of tart gueuzy fruitiness. Light body. Sparse flavour hints of lemon, icing sugar, wheat. Finishes watery and sugary. argo0 (6284), Washington DC, USA Jan 27, 2007 (50cl bottle) Cloudy lemon yellow body, large white head that mostly dissipates. Aroma is strong banana and yeast, light mango. Taste is medium sweet, banana cream, some yeast, lemon, light seltzer, clove. Watery light-medium body. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Sep 30, 2002 Could be the best German-style wheat beer i’ve ever had, even though its from Austria. Cloudy mangoey nectar colour, beautiful white fluffy head, with fantastic lace. Huge banana esters aroma as per mentions. Simply amazing flavour. Lots of banana, some tart tangy acidity. Cloves, perhaps some spice, quite nectary, with some mango, lemon and peach in their, nice soft yeast caharcter aswell. Absoluetly world class, Once again Per, you’ve done the job!!!! Thanks for this man!!!! Beautifull stuff.
