Aroma is fine with spicey vanilla, citruses and top fermentation-yeast-perfume. The taste is smooth with oily vanilla and fruity/raisins flavour, moderated carbontion, fine hop. In my dream i can brew like the belgian masters... gueuzeisgod (109), Graham, North Carolina, USA

Sweet malt aroma, fruity yeast. Taste is very sweet, mild hop bitterness- a tripel without all of the alcohol punch. Drinkable, but almost cloying. firstdraft (7), USA does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2008 Hey a Blonde Ale I actually like! WOOT! This is a nice little ale with a nice head, dark amber color, kinda cloudy, little bit of lacing. Aroma has that not quite done bread smell. Flavor is really good, there is a little bit of that chimay flavor belgian thing going on there that I usually hate but not this time. Good beer I’d get it again.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 26, 2008 Bottle - Poured a darkish amber in color with a big foamy white head. Minor lacing on the glass. Aroma is yeasty with hints of both some citrus and some malty sweetness. Flavor is also quite yeasty with lots of fruity esters. Some alcohol apparent, but not overpowering. Overall a very nice beer... worth repeating. jredmond (1068), New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 19, 2008 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden body with a one-inch frothy-soapy head. The aroma reveals that this beer is not a blonde ale, but a abbey tripel. There are some sweet notes distinct to the style. The taste is really smooth followed by alcohol in the finish. Okay, not bad. SynergyXJ (506), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA
