75cl bottle Golden blond coloured beer with average white head. Spicy and hoppy aroma. Very sweet palate. Finish is sweet and little creamy and some spicy hints. Nice

11.2oz brown bottle from Tiger Town in Gardiner. Pours a beautiful golden yellow translucent body with a good half inch of off-white head. Smells really fruity and pleasant, like a fresh peach or apricot. Tastes very fruity also, with apricot and apple playing huge roles with some malt notes toward the finish. Just the slightest hint of alcohol in the flavor and mouthfeel. Fairly light on the mouthfeel, but makes this surprisingly drinkable for the abv. Really very delicious, one of the best examples of the style I’ve had. Really hitting the spot tonight.

Clear blonde copper. Not bottle conditioned. Sweet yeasty aroma. Crunchy biscuit malt that was nice but not interesting enough. Doesnt really hold up to others in it’s category.

I thought this to be a pretty average tripel, but it was by no means a disappointment. Pretty malty and not as spicey as I might have expected, but for some reason I was expecting a pretty mild-mannered beer (perhaps because it was listed as a blonde ale on the menu and bottle) and that is what I got. Pour was a pretty rich gold-amber color with good head. Branded glassware at the Palm Tavern was nice enhancement to the experience. Aroma was not that distinct - some clove and a bit of diacetyl. Flavor was more of that, but with a distinctly strong malt backbone. Mouthfeel was unremarkable. In all I thought this an average yet rather sessionable beer. I would recommend this beer, although not that strongly. $3 bottles at the Palm Tavern on Kinnickinic in Milwaukee; price was right. Along with $1.50 Huber Bocks at Comet, this has to be one of the better bar bargains in Milwaukee.

Pours dark golden with lasting lacing. Aroma of fruit and some hops. Light on the palate, but this adds to the drinkability. I did get some metallic aftertastes though. Finishes abrubtly. Still I could drink several of these and enjoy it. A simple, drinkable, light bodied brew, with a little more alcohol then your average session beer.

Draft. Kind of weak for a tripel. Sweet with not a lot of character there. Ok at best.
