Grimbergen Blonde is a nice blonde ale. However, it is very simple. Nothing about this beer is really special or different and while it is drinkable, it is a bit boring.

A Tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee WI. This one didn’t leave much of an impression. Good but nothing to speak of.

Bottle. Poured a golden yellow with a thick white head that goes from 3 fingers to a thin head that lingers throughout. It has the aroma of lemon zest and yeast. The taste is slightly citrus and yeasty. There is less spice and complexity then is expected from the aroma. It’s an ok beer but not one I would crave.

Pours a nice off-white and creamy head. Body is orange-yellow and slightly hazy with medium carbonation. Starts sweet and finishes with a nice orange peel and coriander flavor. A slight alcohol taste throughout. Very refreshing.

Pours bright golden with a mostly receding white head. Aroma of candy sugar, bubble gum, banana, and herbs. Taste is sweet malt, cookie, estery pear and banana with light herbal notes. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. Perhaps a bit simplistic, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Pours golden with white head. Aroma of sugar, malt and herbal spice. Flavor is light and airy - very drinkable.

Bottle. Clear golden with a white head. Sweet, malty aroma with hints of herbs. Herbal flavours blend with sugary malts. Drinkable, but too sweet.

Pour is a bright golden with a average white head. Aroma is full of peppery spice and yeast. Flavor is a bit of a let down. You get some of the yeast and creamyness that you should get in a tripel but everything is muted. Finish is very watery. Much better out there and im glad i only got a single instead of the entire six pack.
