It had a very nice bitter taste to it but its appearance was not that amazing and almost worried me on how good it would be.

Bottle. Very light golden colored, clear, very effervescent. Frothy white head. Belgian yeast aroma, some fruit. Fruity flavor with a hint of a wheat taste, hint of spice, banana and finishes sort of dry, but leaves enough maltiness. Overall I thought this was real good.

Nice, light tasting beer. Easy finish with a hint of fruitiness. Excellent summer brew.

Memphis-Bottle. Enjoyed this sucker immensley but found myself constantly comparing it to my favorite blonde (thus far), Affligem (But the liquor store guy started it!!!) Since that’s the way I drank it, here goes: Grimbergen finished drier with less residual sweetness lending itself to a more crisp finish. Also, the aroma was not as complex as "the other blonde."

Pours a clear darker orange color with a large amount of froathy white head. Aroma is doughy yeasty wheat with bits of tart apple. Flavor is pretty reflective of the aroma, kinda apple cidery with that typical belgian white yeast flavor, slight floral spice. Overall, decent.

Lys gul øl uden den store duft. Samgen er let humlet og let gæret og let sødlig. Nem at drikke, og ikke særlig markant i forhold til andre triple

Bottled. Poured a light watery yellow with a white head. Aroma was yeast, spices, banana, and wheat. Flavor was yeasty, wheat, with a hint of barbasol shaving cream. Good creamy body.
