| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 8, 2007 The color was murky golden with light orange hues. The head had a medium thickness. It was white and frothy. The aroma was a very apparant citrisy lemon note. There were light hops as well. The flavor was light lemon and orange citrisy hops. It reminded me of a belgian white. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Swiped from the WBF. Pours a fairly thin golden with a medium offwhite head. Would have liked more haze or subsistence in the pour. Some lacing though. Aroma is sweet, fruit, spice, mild must, some alcohol, Curacao, . The flavor is crisp, slightly dry, Curacao, zesty lemongrass, mild spice, some grassy hops and a mild funk. Tastes fairly "tripelish" but deviates in a few areas, mainly alcohol and some facets of the flavor. Not too bad though. KimJohansen (7143), Copenhagen V, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Clear golden ale with large head. Sweet malty and citrus dominated aroma. Flavor with notes of wheat and malt. Medium body and good balance in this nice simple abbey beer. mansquito (843), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Pours thick white head with an orange body. Somewhat fruity smell to it. Fruity and easy tase. Even though it has less alcohol and based off of that estimation I thought it wasn’t a tripel, it still does keep the tripel taste to a large extent. Very light hop presence. Sort of sweetish. I have had much better in this style. The dubbel they make is a whole lot better in my opinion. DerBiermeister (524), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

The appearance is golden and see-through. The flavour is quite good. The palate is good, and overall this is a good ale, but for a Belgian ale disappointing. It was worth the $12 for a six pack to try it, but I would probably not get it again. It is available in Florida, but not in the backwards-lawed Alabama.
