Piss-pale pour topped momentarily with comical bathsuds. Nose of tin and banana. Thin and papery with touches of sherbet, wheat, banana and metal. Sweet, fruity and metallic with the vaguest nibble of parting bitterness. Possibly contains alcohol. Leffe-lite. tarjei (1754), Bryne, Norway

Big, lovley, creamy white head. Fruit, wheat and some sourness in aroma. Flavor is yeast, sweet malt, hops, fruit (banana), a bit sour, nice bitterness. Balanced, easy drinking beer for a evening at the balcony. mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 8, 2007 Bottle (from Tesco). Better than the Dubbel although it has the same cheap tinny malt and grainyness. Strangely enough its more noticeable here, as its not masked by masses of toffee, but is less offputting in this beer. Other than the fairly poor malts there is some fruity fermentation flavours and a mild sweetness which lead into a reasonably drinkable finish with just a touch of bitterness. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Sampled on Flashy’s tour of Brugge in June 2007 - Quite nice. Fruity and sweet and got a bit of that Leffe bubblegum taste, but a bit more watery and paler in colour than the great one. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2007 Once a top 10 beer, now just another beer from Belgium, but I still really like it. Notes of fruits, yeast, caramel and easy drinkabilty. A ladybeer! Magicdave6 (5551), London, Greater London, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 31, 2007 Nose was notably buttery and sweet and some sort of chalky inkyness that put me off a bit. Taste was similar lacking the inkyness but something is getting in the way perhaps the yeast is creating a fruit character i dont like. flemdawg (485), Naples, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2007 See through golden body with a small white head and some good lacing down the sides. Aroma of grains, some honey, bananas, cloves and just a hint of apples. Yeasty taste with some bananas, cloves, a bit of apples, and just a touch of malts. Feels full in the mouth yet lively at the same time. I really enjoyed this one.
