Spicy nose of caramel, yeast (or refried beans) and oranges. Taste is light and crisp - vanilla, stewed lemons, spice, orange and light fruits. Easy to drink and very nice with my meal. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Although the color was pale, and flat looking in the glass, the big flavor really caught me quite offguard. I did notice the citrus smell up front, but the full-body of this beer is quite remarkable. A really tasty beer. Notably the finish is a little weak, but no more then I have come to expect from this style of beer. No doubt, this would be a nice summer beer and a big session beer. Probably a great keg beer that could be slammed all night long with buddies. Cheers. Gr0ve (1420), Oslo, Norway
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2007 330 ml bottle. Amber colour, crystal clear, and with lots of bubbles rising to the surface. Medium-sized consistent, but coarse white head. Rich lemony and apricoty aroma. Sweet notes, but still refreshing because of the fruit. Light flavours. High carbonation level makes this a refreshing and lively beer. Finishes with a light resiny flavour. mike1977ok (648), Netherlands

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2007 bottle - Tripel? hmm... I don’t know about that. Pours clear and golden with a big, fluffy head. The aroma is yeasty, malty, and flowery. The flavor is sweet with some nice citrus notes. Medium bodied, lively on the palate, and easy going down with a clean finish, this is a pleasant lighter ale. Quite enjoyable. BustedFlat (554), Edina, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Poured from a 330ml bottle into a tulip glass, golden with a medium and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus fruit. The taste was sweet up front with notes of apple and pear, but fades into ambiguity as it warms. Watery mouthfeel with medium carbonation. I don’t understand why this is categorized as a tripel. Grimbergen makes a tripel and this is advertised as a blonde ale and it certainly drinks like one.
