Bottle (330ml). Thanks to biegaman for this one. Poured clear, vaguely amber gold with a small frothy white head that managed to leave a minimal honeycomb of white lacing behind. Smells like a blonde ale - generic candy malt, a little fruit and yeast, a whisper of light grassy herbal hops. Taste is also pretty light, the hops are slightly more pungent and up-front, a little alcohol (not tripel levels) presence, slightly tart fruit - apricot maybe, yeasty finish, very quick off the tongue. Watery and almost disturbingly slick mouthfeel, hardly any life to it, somewhat characterless - as a blonde it would be okay; as a tripel it’s a failure.

Bottle. Golden colour with a medium head. Fruity, sweet aroma with yeast. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, slight touch of citrus. Bit sweet yeasty finish.

clear amber pour from the 300ml bottle. little head reveals a thin layer oily bubbly film. sweet tart aromas dominate, with a little of lemon creeping in on the tail; smells pleasnant. first taste reveals an off-kiltered amount of hops over malts. hops are spicy, but doesn’t contain too much flavor. i also taste alcohol. the long finish is rather tart and leaves my mouth with a velvet feeling. a tad dry, but a good beer overall. i could have a few more of these.

Enjoyed on tap at a little sidewalk cafe in Paris, "Le Gramont," on Blvd. Des Italiens about a block north of the Garnier Opera House. Golden-copper color, small white head. Aroma is sugar, clove, fermented fruit. Taste is sweet fruit malt, spicy, tangy, banana. Decent beer. Fermented wheat.

One thing I’ve found about Europe is that they know how to infuse blonde beer with unique flavors. Maybe I’ll change my mind about it after some more.

Pours a beautiful clear copper with ample carbonation and a thin frail head that leaves ample lacing. Smells of sourt/tart fruits.. lemon zest and hay. Good malt an dhop balance with a bitter finish. Drinkable golden ale.

Pours a deep gold, with lively carbonation and half an inch of white foam. It keeps a ring and a thin layer of foam for the head, providing pretty decent lace. Sweet/tart aroma of fruit, grain, honey, and alcohol. Nice flavor - honeymalt, sweet fruitiness, light candi, a touch of cereal grain, and a bit of orangey citrus in the finish. Medium body, moderately light carbonation. The alcohol that I detected in the aroma is not to be found in flavor or mouthfeel. Good combination of flavors and balance - quite drinkable. In a way, it kinda reminds me of Kuhnhenn’s Simcoe Silly

This starts with a small creamy head of off-white with a clear dark yellow body. Light malt aroma that is jooined by a touch of apple, honey and peppery spice. The flavor profile is balanced, light malt and a touch of hop bitterness. Good, but not overly complex.
