bottle brought over by alobar, pours a pure golden color with a huge white head that seems almost solid as it settled down to about a 1/4 layer. lots of apple and lots of yeast in the aroma. flavor has a lot of apple going on, with hints of caramel and yeast, and a very fine carbonation that makes for a very smooth easy drinking beer. nothing negative in the aftertaste, just more of the same apple sweetness and smooth flavors.

Medium, white, coarse head. Clear copper body. Faint aroma of licorice and apples. Deep, sourish taste of again apples with notes of licorice. Quite bitter. Dry, sweetish aftertaste. Complex, yet light and refreshing. Very good!

Nice creamy snow white head early but settles quickly to leave a thin residual with good lacing. Very clear medium amber in colour. Text book correct nose with a decent lift of coriander. Palate is a slight let down as the flavours never really kick in. Malts and fruit notes are faint and perhaps slightly stale, despite the 6/06 UBD, but do improve as the beer warms up. This is the second so-so bottle I’ve had in the past 4 months.

Nice, but could be stronger, it was cloudy and very good in flavor, the foam was great and sticked to the glass.

Poured with average sized white head that showed nice lacing. Nose is of coriander/clove, wheat and citrus, taste is sweet but not too sweet. I am really enjoying this beer. Seems like I am bucking the trend here by giving it such a good rating, but I really enjoy this very much.

Looks like a lager but with a good head that lasts well. Touch of honey in the aroma. This is good, not too sweet, well balanced and the alcohol content does not show at all.
