Aroma and taste of sweet fruit, banana and hop. Nice and well balanced but a bit boring. And to servants and waitresses at café and pubs: Blonde doesn´t mean weiss or wit! cab (863), Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Pours a clear gold color with a soapy white head and no visible carbonation. Nose is honey, fruit, malt, and yeast. Feel is fizzy and medium bodied. Flavors are fruit, caramel, and sugar. This comes across as sub premium. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 4, 2009 Pours with a yellow golden color and a large, frothy head that lasts well. Aroma smells clean, but resembles more of a Pale Lager, not a Belgian blond. Flavor is very sweet, fruity, malt liquor-like. Watery texture. It’s not like it’s Marten low carb, but this beer basically sucks. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 31, 2009 Bottle. Mild malty aroma with a slight touch of fruit. Clear golden body, small white head. The flavor is oddly muted, without the expected ripe fruits of the style. There is some malt, and then the finish has some bitterness. Refreshing, but nothing like what was expected. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 28, 2009 11.2 oz pry-top brown glass. No freshness date, but code on back label.
Appearance: Poured in a Duvel goblet. Clear and bright, golden yellow. Thin white head, small bubbles.
Nose: Lot’s of banana and spice. A slight toasty-yeasty background.
Palate: A little watery on the body, with most of the flavor following what seems to be a quick hop note. A little bitterness out on the finish. Flavors are simple and focused on banana/yeast spice.
Notes: The palate is really loose and watery, making for a seemingly cheap mouthfeel. Could see this being better right from the bottle. Might retain more carbonation and therefore mouthfeel. OldMrCrow (1191), Seattle, Washington, USA

Banana and cut apple, estery nose. Plenty of yeast character, pushing toward wit territory with honey sweetness that reveals its tripel styling. I’m not overwhelmed here. joeyplush (337), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 24, 2009 Gold pour with a thinnish white head that lightens further but doesn’t disappear. Moderate lacing. Aroma of bananas, some spices, yeast, and hops. Flavor has bananas and is slightly sweet. Very solid, drinkable beer, the banana aroma and taste reminds me of a hefeweizen.
