An estery aroma of Mandarin oranges, bananas, lemons, and a touch of honey. The flavor starts with some baseball card bubblegum and transitions to some oranges and lemons. Yeasty and sorta spicy. Quite sweet throughout. Goes down nice and light. Crisp and refreshing. A very sessionable Belgian. jodah52 (66), Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Decent abbey blonde. Clear, deep gold with a small head. Taste is clean, with just enough sweetness in my opinion; there is a dry mouthfeel with vigorous carbonation. Aromas are simple and direct; malt, bit of carmel, and just a hint of wood, with an unfortunate metallic flavor appearing briefly in the finish. It’s good; I’m not sure if I’d get it again, unless I could find it on tap. ralphdot (76), Billingham, Durham, England
