Lightly sweet, fruity aroma, floral and faintly honeyish with background spicy notes and hints of pear. Medium golden color with a fine, frothy white head and thick lacing. Flavor profile is sweet throughout, some white grape and lightly citric fruit to be found and possessing a gently bitter, spicy, peppery hop finish. Mouthfeel is thin and very lightly acidic with a medium body. Seemingly quite appropriate for the season.

Aug 14, 2008 12 oz. bottle in trade from daknole- thanks! Served in trappist glass- poured transparent golden, whisps of white globs on top of the surface for a head that showed some lacing, very little carbonation. Aroma of ripe fruit, yeast, and a few hops. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt tastes very light but is enjoyable, fruit sensations come in the middle, finish is surprisingly crisp. Really enjoyed this one!

Aug 5, 2008 This belgian ale is extremely smooth, especially for a triple (which I wasn’t even aware of while drinking it!). It had a beautiful rich yelllow color and was very easy on the palate. I contributed this case to my last exchange.
