Bottle purchased at a foreignworker’s in Brussels: Clear amber with an off white head & decent lacings. Light sweet - sugar & caramel/malts. Medium bodied - close to watery.. Dark fruits & some alcohol. Bready notes. This is just about as interesting as the other beers from the brewery. Perhaps their cheese is good? I dunno!

Brown hazy beer with medium head. Toffee and malty aroma. Sweet malty flavor with notes og orange peel, coriander and plums. By far the best Grimbergen.

Dark chocolate-like beer with a flocky head. Nose of dark fruits that you find back in the flavor as well ending in a mild sourness.

Bottle poured in a grale. Nice golden amber colour with a big creamy well lasting good beige head. Soft roasty and spiced flavour with caramel, alcohol and dark fruits. Sweet caramel, siruppy, bit spiced roastish malty flavour with some sourness, alcohol and sweet dark fruits. Quite sweet and bit dry finish with a soft bitterness. Too sweet for me. "Union Cuvée de l’Ermitage" was a lot tastier.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a nut brown beer with a big nicely remaining slightly tanned head. The aroma is of caramel, dried apricots, a hint of seawater, sour apples and a whiff of burnt tyres. The taste is mainly of caramel. Hints of marshmallows, nuts, sour apples and metal. Lots of quinces in the flavor. Fairly low bitterness. A bad finish with a lingering metallic touch. This beer leaves a wonderful lacing.
