Bottle. Clear amber color with a average frothy fair lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty and yeasty, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to light sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration (like a vintage beer). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

0,33 bottle. Lightly carbonated. Sweet aroma, brownish head. Smooth and bit sour. Some apples in it. Really fruity.

Bottle. Nice fruity, candy sugar aroma. I thought many things about the color, swampy brown and dark maple syrup among them. The flavor was hints of apple and grape with slight overtones from the alcohol. The mouthfeel was a little bit sticky and the aftertastte slightly bitter. A pleasant enough beer.

Thick and sweet beer. Fruity aroma and very dark. Flavor has sweet malt, caramel, and sugar, as well as a light roasted grain character. Heavy palate. Another solid, if unspectacular, beer from Grimbergen.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and lightly sweet caramel. Fairly full-bodied, fruity with lightly caramelish malts. The finish is dry. Decent but not exactly thrilling. 030307
