O álcool, igualmente, é presente no paladar. Ótima carbonatação (média). Excelente creme! Retrogosto agradável. Servir não tão gelada.

Medium offwhite creamy head. Deep red body with some carbonation. Light acidic spicy malty aroma, somewhat fruity. Deep, sweetish raspberry taste with fruity notes. Aftertaste is bitterish, slightly metallic raspberry. Very nice, refreshing, and drinkable, even if not too complex. (0.33l bottle.)

Ruby red color with a thin lasting foamy head. Good carbonation. Aroma mainly of yeast, a bit malt, and lots of cherries and fruitiness (also caramel very present). Medium bodied beer with a bitter-sweet finish. Very good beer overall. Very sweet and pleasant.

Bottle. Brown in colour with a sparkling look to it. Creamy head was medium. Aroma spicy, yeast as the predominant notes with some malty notes coming into play as well. Caramel and dry fruit. The alcohol can be felt in mouth, and gives a warming feel. Flavour was light to medium bitter-sweet. Medium bodied with a bitter-sweet finish. Was able to compare it with the Grimbergen Dubbel, and there are semiliterate to be found with these two. Or thought the Cuvée is not as malty and sweet in aroma. Cuvée is refreshing and the stronger alcohol defiantly makes a difference, but not for the better in my opinion. Dubbel is clearly a better beer.

Bottle. Hazy red, highly carbonated, big brown cream head. Port and fruit aroma. Dry wood and brown sugar up front, Fruit and spices - oranges, clove. Quite dry mouthfeel, less sparkly than expected from the looks. Wooden, fruity and mineralic retronasal, slowly petering off.

Bottle from Rustico: Pours a hazy brown/dark amber color. Head is medium, white and creamy. Good retention. It leaves a nice film and lacing. Aroma is malty and yeasty with loads and loads of fruits. There are notes of caramel, plums, prunes, ripe red apples, ripe pears and tangerines. There’s some chocolate and the typical spicy (coriander) belgian smell. Flavor has sweet and slightly tart notes, balanced with lots of spicy touches. It starts with a little acid, apple-like tartness becoming progressively sweeter. A little light for the aroma though. Light bodied for the style but smooth and with a long sticky finish. Low carbonation. Good aftertaste. I thought it was a Dubbel....
