Ungstrup (11711), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 4, 2004 The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel. The color is dark amber and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of cloves, corriander, and oranges. A good beer, but not as good as I had expected. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 4, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and lightly sweet caramel. Fairly full-bodied, fruity with lightly caramelish malts. The finish is dry. Decent but not exactly thrilling. 030307 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 7, 2007 Bottled at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Hazy reddish amber, firm head. Perfumy toffeeish nose. Sweet with some red berries saccharine and cardboard. Fruity and rather thins and syrupy with notes of bread. No bitterness. Unrefined and a bit cloying. Disappointing and somewhat indutrial tasting ale. yespr (7788), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 31, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy amber with a light off-white head. Mild fruity, light spiced and caramel aroma. Flavour holds a light fruity note to a malty base, towards dark. Lingering fruity and yeasty finish. Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 20, 2003 1994 vintage, sampled 2003.

Hazy light copper; aroma shows apple fruitiness, brandy, lots of malt. Sweet, plums, apples, oxidized malts. Herbal, dry finish still manages to show some more sherryish malt notes.
