May 27, 2001 Sweet, ripe fruit aroma. Honey-tinged nut and apple flavors. The body is unbelievably thick and syrupy. Absolutely one of the best beers in the world.

Bottle brown, 330 ml
Appearance:head is thick, rather like dirty white, long lasting with nice lacing, colour of head is cappuccino like, body is full, carbonation is medium, body is cloudy and opaque, the head structure is is very regular like the head of a draught beer (made of nitrogen), the colour of the body reminds cognac and cloudy Irish tea ( probably because of high level of yeasts), colour og good, strong tea.
Aroma:Yeast, than comes fruity nose of forest fruits, very mild, refreshing aroma, sweetness of fruits, some rasberries, cherries, malty sweetness, the aroma of glucose and fructose, creamy, some traces of cappuccino but definitely not coffee.
Flavour:Very yeasty nose, a little bit hoppy, nice oily texture, quite drinkable, very well balanced alcohol, strong note but perfectly fitting to the style of beer, cappuccino, banana, fruits, cranberry, rasberry, blueberries. Aftertaste is sour, grainy, not so long sa in some vintage ales, some wheat.
Palate:Body is medium to full, texture is smooth and creamy, carbonation on palate is soft to medium, finish feel is slightly bitter with gentle, aromatic- alcoholic hoppy nose and gentle alcoholic warmth on palte.

Sep 17, 2008 Creme espetacular, muito denso, persistente e consistente. Aroma de malte caramelado e lúpulo. No sabor, mais malte tostado e sugestões amadeiradas. O final é longo e amargo.

Feb 9, 2008 The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very fine foam. The beer tastes really strong, modest dry, not bitter, a little bit sweet. Very drinkable for its strength. Really good beer.

Jan 18, 2003 1994: Bright dark orange color. Bread (like a rye bread or something), alcohol, heavy sweet malt, raisins and other dark fruit all in the nose. The body has a sweet and fruity malt character, finishes with a thick caramel candy flavor. A bit sweet, but a complex brew nonetheless.
