Bottled. A chestnut colored beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, bread, and yeast. The flavor is rather sweet with notes of malt, caramel, bread, and yeast, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Clear medium red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity - apricot, spicy, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081213]

Cola-coloured beer with small yellow rim. Sourish, acetic nose, sugared peel on slightly spicy, sweet malts. Sweet flavours with sourish honey, chamomile, lots of unfermented sugars. To me, it tastes infected. Watered-down MF by the infection (?), spritzy. If you brew Grimbergen in or for France, I suppose this is what you get. WHERE is it brewed, anyway?
