...draft at european beer cafe. Cherries on the nose, with a nice dark brown colour and lively carbonation. Decent sized off-white head that lasted till the end with good lacing. Flavor was nice, caramel, roasted malt, with some brandy and hints of dark fruits. Easy drinking, smooth, well balanced. Some slight spice notes in the relatively dry finish, with a good aftertaste. A good beer than I had not tried before, and will be having again.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a brown color with a large off-white head. Aromas of yeast and sweet carmel. Nice balance b/w the hops and the malt. Medium bodied and spicy.

11.2 Bottle in trade from daknole, thanks. Served in trappist glass- poured transparent around the rim darken amber/brown in color, light carbonation of tiny bubbles, white patches on top of the liquid for a head, some lacing on the sides. Aroma of yeast, dark fruit, and wheat bread. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt is distinguishable, fruit notes come through cleanly and nicely, finish has sour and spice quality to it. I found this one very drinkable and enjoyable.

Bottle...thanks to Daknole...Pours brown with some bloody cherry red highlights--beige head...smells spiced, a little fruity and some muddled chocolate...fresh yeast as well....Initial sip, sweet candy malts, then very distinct raisin---overall sweet, but it has a spicy characteristic to it...light malts and yeast tie it all together---finish has a Flemish sour ale appeal

Bottle. Dark amber with a moderate head. Drier than I expected based on the initial chocolate and spice aroma. The yeast comes through clearly, along with sour, black cherry and malt finish. Clean and straightforward. Very drinkable.

Now this...is beer. Pours a beautiful deep copper color with a generous off white head. Lots of roasted malts with hints of chocolate on the nose. Wonderful, roasted chocolate with a bit of a fruity character to it in the aftertaste. This was a great great beer, highly reccomended.
