| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Starting with sweet caramel and berries aroma, followed for a great body and very nice achieved colour from brown to red. The taste is precise as the combination of sugar and hop must be. The mixture of the foam and the liquid make a special sensation that you can almost chew it. The end is bit ethanol domiant, but definetely a well done Ale. SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 12, 2008 The nose was filled with caramel, toffee, chocolate and a good dose of nuts. In the mouth the beer was medium-bodied with a soft and rich midpalate. It was quite sweet with the flavors from the nose continuing through and just a touch of dryness on the finish. The overall flavors reminded me of dessert but this was not quite that sweet and heavy. llbjr77 (72), Largo, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Had on draft; nice aroma (little caramel, malty), nice aftertaste, but not strong, Smooth and will drink again. babil (3), , Spain does not count | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Pours brown, with a head that quickly dissapears. Sweet nose like caramels mixed with tuna fish. Smooth and easy to drink but maybe one of the worst Belgian Abbey Dubbels comercialized. I understand that’s everywhere by their marketing and because people knows the Grimbergen brand but I’m really disappointed with this beer. I don’t wanna see what’s going to do Heineken with it. mcox90 (637), Wilton, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Pours a nice dark amber brown color with a good amount of tan head and a nice glass retention.
I couldn;t pick out much other than the caramel malts on the nose.
Excellent taste, caramel malts and some raisins, finishing off once again with the caramel.
Thick and creamy in the mouth, goes down smooth.
