Garrafa. Tomada em diversos momentos na Europa. Considero a Grimbergen, assim como a Leffe, minha bebida padrão em terras européias. Essa Dubbel é bem marcante, encorpada, complexa e altamente agradável.

Pours a clear brown with a tanned head. Sweet with a tiny hint of metals. Kind of thin and one-sided. Also some vegetables in the finish. Boring, too thin.

Bottle from the Delirium cafe. I didn’t enjoy this as much as their tripel, this had a big metallic flavor in the finish. The flavor starts nice, warm caramel and chocolate flavors, spicy finish with a hint of plum, but the metallic takes over and really ruines it.

Pours deep garnet with a large, off-white head. Dark fruit in the aroma, with a helping of Belgian yeast and some spice. A tad metallic. Flavor is light Dubbel: fruit, yeast, and lesser flavors that disappear a bit too quickly. There’s a bunch of better Dubbels out there, but this one isn’t terrible.

Dark translucent mahogany body, plus a steady dense head and good lacing. Crude sweet and slightly spicy aroma, some breadyness. One-dimensional sweet taste, not subtle at all and there was very little malt complexity - mostly strong plums/raisins/dark sugar which formed a strawberry syrup-like whole. Not much carbonation, decent mouthfeel (not too cloying at least). Mediocre at best.

Draught at The Rover, Gothenburg, Sweden. Darm amber with athick and creamy off-white head. Really sourish aroma with a lot of vinegar and metallic. Yeasyt and sourish flavour. Pretty sweet.
