Sep 9, 2009 Bottle, 33cl. Pours appealing dark brown with russet hue, with a decent head that endured. Rounded aroma of mature fruit with yeast and malt undertones on the nose, and similar on the palate with more eveident sweetness. Medium mouthfeel, and a decent double overall.

Sep 4, 2009 330ml Bottle: Aroma of yeast, dark ripe fruit, slight yeast, malt, and a hint of funk. Poured very deep orange/brown/slight ruby in color with a small, rocky, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Very sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tasted of dark ripe fruit, yeast, candi sugar, malts, and a hint of nuts. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, dark ripe fruit, finish is slightly dry.

Aug 29, 2009 Pours a dark brown with a strong smell of grains and sour alcohol. Not quite as full bodied as I had expected, and the sour/ alcohol taste is off putting.

Aug 16, 2009 Deep dark brown color where a little light shines through (appears clear). Chunky and rocky head; leaves significant
Strong brown sugar/molasses aroma. After the head settles a little, there’s a metallic smell.
Nice blend of sweet (malt sugar) and bitter (hop). Surprisingly thin for this style of beer. Bitter finish with that pesky metal taste showing up in the aftertaste.
