Pours deep brown-red. The aroma is tart and sour. Phenomenal appearance. Very sweet taste, with a hint of chocolate. Nice palate finish. I would drink this if I were eating some hefty dinner items.

Pours dark ruby brown with a fairly thin head. Aroma is malty and sweet. Taste is malty and slightly fruity. There is a strange finish that I can’t really discern. Overall a pretty good beer.

Bottle 0.33L. Dark brown body with a medium, creamy, light-brown head; mostly lasting with a good lacing. Moderate-to-heavy malty aroma with light hoppy and yeasty character; notes of pear. Heavy sweet flavour with an acidic note; in the finish a light-to-moderate bitter note also appears; peppery feeling on the tongue. Medium body with an oily texture; lively carbonation; light alcoholic feeling in the finish. Good beer for meditation or with a flavoured meal.

Bottle, 33 cl. Taste this more times. Today again by friends. Dark brown with a medium, head on top. Sweet aroma. Sweet flavours, some roasted notes, well-balanced. Mass-produced abbey beer.

11.2 oz. Bottle. Good fruity plumb and cherry wine aroma. Amber body and foam gusher after removing cap. Big off white head that settled to like a manhole cover on top of body. Flavor was yeasty bread and alcohol. Mild fruity flavors present, was looking for more fruit from what I got from aroma. Decent brew.

Bottle from Stoutlover, thanks! Pours a clear amber body with decent thin sized head and little carbonation. Aroma is of candied fruit, plums, and cherries. Taste is the same. Slightly sweet and smooth with a thin mouthfeel. Not bad.

Near black, slight red hints in color. Vanishing light brown head. Sweet aroma with syrup, berries, licorice and caramel. Medium bodied. Flavor is more bitter with syrup, some sour hops and spices. Sour berries in aftertaste with thin metal and biting hops.
