| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 3, 2009 11.2 oz bottle 5/3/09 (Courtesy of RSRIZZO)-Pours a dark brown with a nice big tan head. Aroma of malt and maybe some sweetness otherwise nothing. Taste of swetness followed by some amlt and raisin characteristics. This medium bodied brew has no Belgian characteristics instead of some sweetness. This is like some American malty product possibly a brown or amber. If its a diffferent take on a Dubbel it definitely fits that but nothing matches a true Dubbel. It still is quite drinkable. Ryan82SM (271), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 3, 2009 Aroma has some currant, molasses and biscuit. Appearance was dark amber with a low carbonation creamy head. Flavor had mostly caramel and chocolate with sour apple vinegar and molasses. Finish was briefly lively with some creaminess. Underrated.
