A nutbrown beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet and fruity - like a typical ale. The flavor is very sweet and smooth with no bitterness, but hints of fruit. All in all a very plesant beer, but so sweet that I will only have one in a sitting.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark brown, filtered. Very malty and sweetish. Brownish head. Perhaps a bit too much carbonation. Very nice although perhaps a bit too mainstream Dubbel. 200593

33 cL bottle. Pours deep brown/amber, clear and golden with a huge collapsing tan head. Caramel malty and slight metallic note in the aroma. Light fruity, yeasty and solid caramel note. Classic dubbel note into the finish.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear deep ruby, majestic cloud-like head. Fruity nose with dried plums and lemon. Sweet and medium bodied with lots of perfumy soap and an unusual estery apricot flavour. Some soothing caramel mixes with dextrose. Drying finish with low bitterness. Despite all flavour it feels mild. Complex, but with some drawbacks.

Bottle. Dark reddish-brown, carbonating beer, with a large, dense, creamy beige head. Weak aroma of dried fruits, some alcohol and spices, and caramel. Round, balanced flavor with sweetness from caramel and raisins, a hint of roasted malt and spices. Nice body and a pleasant finish.

Bottle. Dark brown colour, OK tan head. Aroma seems sour, but I cannot trace it in the flavour. Sweet, malty warming, toffee/caramel flavour. Sweet aftertaste.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Weak fruity and yeasty aroma. Fruity, sweet plummy flavour. Not too exciting, quite standard dubbel.
