My recommendation is to pour it into a room-temperature glass. Truly the finest beer to taste BETTER as it grows warmer in the glass! dwyerpg (2042), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 5, 2005 Smells a little fruity and off, but looks nice. I think this may have strawberry or raspberry hints, but this is truly one of my favorite doubles - top notch. shendrix (435), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Sep 9, 2005 The taste is just the right bits of unsweetened chocolate and fine brandy, with a side of roasted barley to keep you sipping. A damn fine brew my lads. neo_hippie2 (116), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Aug 4, 2008 Now this...is beer. Pours a beautiful deep copper color with a generous off white head. Lots of roasted malts with hints of chocolate on the nose. Wonderful, roasted chocolate with a bit of a fruity character to it in the aftertaste. This was a great great beer, highly reccomended. sjengske99 (2), Mestreech, Netherlands does not count Nov 5, 2001
