Commercial Description:
This is a strong blonde beer, full of character with tertiary fermentation in the bottle yet still very accessible. Alc. 8% vol. Taste: The traditional Grimbergen recipe is enriched here trough the use of aromatic hops, which gives the beer its refined bitterness and hoppy character. The result is a refreshingly strong blonde beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellowish golden, with a medium and fading white head and a hoppy aroma with hints of citrus, blueberries, plums, coreander and some yeast. The flavour is both fruity and hoppy, with some other sweet malts, yeast and dried fruits. Ejoyable, but quite dull

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear golden colour, big fluffy white head. Aroma of sour grain, light fruity, some metal. Flavour is malty, light sweet, some yeast, sour grain, light bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied. I don’t know why, but I expected a lot more from this beer.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a longlasting white bubbly head. Yeasty and fruity nose with some metallic notes. Malty and fruity flavour with some hops. Bit harsh. Very dry at the finish. It lacks the spices which makes it rather simple. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle. Pours a huge head. Blonde. Grainy, flowery, slightly alcoholic flavor. Soft grainy flowery aroma. Drinkable commercial abbey ale without much character.
