Commercial Description:
This is a strong blonde beer, full of character with tertiary fermentation in the bottle yet still very accessible. Alc. 8% vol. Taste: The traditional Grimbergen recipe is enriched here trough the use of aromatic hops, which gives the beer its refined bitterness and hoppy character. The result is a refreshingly strong blonde beer.

Bottle, bought @ brygshoppen.dk.
Pours clear, pale golden with a small, frothy, lightly off-white head. Aroma is lightly malty, some yeast with very weak caramel. High carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is softly malty, some yeast, lightly vinious. Simple and very elegant.

330 ml bottle. Light gold pour with a five finger white head - started fine, headed rocky. Aroma seems just pale malt. Near medium body. Pale malt, paper, yeast and alcohol for flavor. Then a touch of kandi sneaks in. I’m all for bottle conditioning, but I think they left the hop out of this one. Comes as close to a cheap drunk beer as real ale can? Seriously, it reminds me of those 24 oz high gravity American lagers. Tastes a lot better, but still...

This beer has a yellowish-gold colour with a big head. It’s has a fresh beer, but it’s weak malty taste couldn’t really convince though. Rather too wathery for me.

Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a huge mostly lasting white head and some lacing. Powerful malty aroma and taste with fruity notes. Lasting finish.
