Commercial Description:
This is a strong blonde beer, full of character with tertiary fermentation in the bottle yet still very accessible. Alc. 8% vol. Taste: The traditional Grimbergen recipe is enriched here trough the use of aromatic hops, which gives the beer its refined bitterness and hoppy character. The result is a refreshingly strong blonde beer.

Bottle, 8%. Sweet and fruity aroma with some rough hop or perhaps alcohol notes. Hazy golden colour. Very big stable white head. The flavour is quite malty with some fruit and yeast. Again, there are some rough notes, alcohol or the hops or both. High carbonation.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white head that leaves nice head. Aroma is fruityness along with grass and some alcoholic notes. Flavour is smooth malts, and wheat along with hops. Mild bananaish notes as it gets warm. When warm, also alcohol starts showing up more.

Bottled (BB 05/2009)
Clear yellow golden color, huge cloudy head, lace, lively beer. Sweetish fruity-yeast aroma (mango and honey) with some hints of rubber. When it warms up, also some metal. Fruity flavor with grassy-woody hops and quite strong alcohol presence. Long warming spicey and alcoholic aftertaste. Solid, although standard tripel. I suppose that ageing doesn’t improve this one.
