JonnyDr (128), , South Yorkshire, England Sep 28, 2008 Updated: Oct 22, 2008Dark amber beer with medium carbonation and a small short lasting head. Fantastic initial taste - malty with plenty of fruits (banana, pear) and a pleasant finish. Definately has it over Leffe 9. Bart (1455), Vosselaar, Belgium Aug 6, 2008 Darker amber coloured beer with lots of carbonation and a small white head. Fruity, sweet malty and yeasty aroma. Full light creamy palate. Finish is fruity, full malty with clear alcoholic yeasty touches. Nice balanced strong ale. Malty bit yeasty aroma. Full little creamy palate. Finish is bit sweet and fruity, slightly alcoholic. Good one, reminds to Leffe. Grossecaisse (24), France Jun 18, 2008 Reel Leffe 9° competitor, it feels like a good beer (the base) with addition of alcohol.
Not enough taste for me.
