LordCorkscrew (939), Ronco Scrivia (GE), Italy May 4, 2009 Mah! Dark fruit and yeast aroma. Taste is relatively free from alcohol and quite smooth. Sweet taste of dark fruits and a lot of malts to back it up. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 11, 2009 Dark deep brown with retaining white head, a tad of the same lace. Malty yeasty aroma. A real foamer on opening. Above average mouthfeel. Mostly sweet malt taste, and yeast thickening it up. Drinkable, sweet though not cloying. mike1977ok (633), Netherlands Jan 6, 2009 Pale brown colour with thin lacy head. Oaky, vinous aroma. Flavour is very rich and has similarities to red wine in it’s ripe fruitiness and alcoholic strength.
