App.: Dark brown/ruby highlights, thin frothy off-white head

Aromas: Candy sugar, red wine vinegar, plums, brown sugar

Palate: Medium/full body, lightly acid, nice mariage between bitter and sweet

Flavors: Long lasting flavors, plums, grapes and brown sugar

Notes: Surprisingly little or no alcohol notes for a 10% brew.... Fantastic. Reminds me of a flemish sour on steroids.

Bottle: pours amber with a tiny beige head. Weak nose of malt and raisins. Very sweet flavour with malt and caramel. Sweet and slightly bitter finish. Full bodied. Some dessert beer, or what?

Pours a murky ruddy brown with some shimmer. The aroma is of sherry and raisin. Some hops are noticeable throughout, and add a floral aspect. The flavor is of a trappist dubbel (some sweet, some sour), with a little more power. The alchohol makes its way through, but dissapears in a short finish. Not a technically great beer, but a tasty one.

Purpleish hue with a thin off white head and good lace work. Vinegar and carament aroma. Sweet and warming like barley wine. Toffee and fruity flavour again very like barley wine. A decent beer with a evidently high alcohol.

This beer has a dark brown body - hue apperance and a fine light brown scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the a bottle and it had a no carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is very sweet with a light bitter afther tast.

Bottle, march 07, shared with Jbrus. Very strong, winey, alcoholic aroma with a nice toffee touch. Nice warming, fruity, red wine flavor and a dry, refreshing feeling. Medium MF, dry with a bit astringent ending. Very quaffable for a 10% brew. Color is a shinny burgundy with some red hues and a thin beige head. Very nice winter warmer.

Nice ruby brown with thick off white head. Malty sweet nose with cherry notes to it. Rich in the mouth with a sweetness that lingers on for a long time. Sweet cherry, brown sugar, toffee and carmel all mingle in the mouth. Very nice beer. A8c5t8p5o7
