Some hops are noticeable throughout, and add a floral aspect. The flavor is of a trappist dubbel (some sweet, some sour), with a little more power. The alchohol makes its way through, but dissapears in a short finish. Not a technically great beer, but a tasty one. nigos (620), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England

Sweet and warming like barley wine. Toffee and fruity flavour again very like barley wine. A decent beer with a evidently high alcohol. maupie (620), Roosendaal, Netherlands

Very strong, winey, alcoholic aroma with a nice toffee touch. Nice warming, fruity, red wine flavor and a dry, refreshing feeling. Medium MF, dry with a bit astringent ending. Very quaffable for a 10% brew. Color is a shinny burgundy with some red hues and a thin beige head. Very nice winter warmer. DownsouthGav (601), Greater London, England
