Mar 21, 2008 (33 cl bottle from a store at the norh station in Brussels) On March 20, 2008. BB 24/07/08. Clear dark reddish brown color, tanhead. Acidic and sweet scent. Acidic, lactic, nutty, alcohol taste. Smooth mouthfel, low bitterness. Milky and alcohol aftertaste.

Aromas:
Candy sugar, red wine vinegar, plums, brown sugar
Palate:
Medium/full body, lightly acid, nice mariage between bitter and sweet
Flavors:
Long lasting flavors, plums, grapes and brown sugar
Notes: Surprisingly little or no alcohol notes for a 10% brew.... Fantastic. Reminds me of a flemish sour on steroids.

Jan 9, 2008 Brown with tiny off white head. Sweet flavor with prunes and raisins. Very sweet malty flavor with notes of yeast, prunes, raisins and caramel. Far to sweet for my taste. Saving the rest for aging....

Mar 18, 2009 Nice look to it... brown and has off-white head... lighter than would be expected for a brown beer. Dark fruit and yeast aroma. Taste is relatively free from alcohol and quite smooth. Sweet taste of dark fruits and a lot of malts to back it up.

Apr 10, 2007 Amber beer with a virtually no head. Alcohol and liquorish aroma. Sweet, fruity and surprisingly complex. The alcohol is obvious but doesn’t seem to punch at a 10% level.
