| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 10, 2005 Bottle. Majestic-looking reddish-brown with a medium head. Let’s see...this is a total cornuicopia of fruits, with apples leading the way followed by pears, cherries, and nectarines. Hints of brown sugar as well. Flavor has some alcohol in the back end as well as sugar cane, like that "Sugar in the Raw" stuff they have in brown packets in some restaurants. Somewhat effervescent, well-masked 10%. Mahogany colour. Aroma was yeast, caramel, dry fruit, liquorish, vinous, caramel, hint of sweet chocolate and lots of brown sugar. Full bodied with a light alcoholic and light syrupy like texture. Moderated to heavy sweet malty and brown sugar flavour with a hint of acidic. Sweet and lingering brown sugar finish. I know it was sweet, but I thought it was great anyways. jalichio999 (502), Brazil
