Nov 18, 2007 A great goodnight beer with a long time to be sampled. Darkbrown look with a big foamy beige head. Lots of notes such as alcohol, raisins, Grimbergen yeast, sugar, dried fruits, smoothyness, spices and more. Has the elements to be a great beer, but lacks a little, I don’t know what, but maybe some metaldust!!!

Sep 12, 2006 Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Clear, reddish brown beer with a dense, lasting, beige head. Dried fruits (prunes), sweetness, some alcohol, cellar and green apples in the aroma. The flavor has alcohol, dried fruits, baked apples, caramel, candisugar and raisins. Nice carbonation and sweetness in the mouthfeel. Nice hoppy and spicy finish. Quite complex and definately one of the best Grimbergens. (060823)

Mar 26, 2008 Updated: Apr 6, 2008[Vintage 2005, Sampled 2008] Brown with a low but dense head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of caramel, dates and spice. The flavours are dark overripe fruits, spicy and roasted malts. It has aged surprisingly well.

Deep red, tiny head. Sharp fruity aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Sweet fruity body - apricot and dark fruits, and plenty of soft dark roasted malts. Gets more berry-like over time. Almost no indication of 10%. Oaky finish.

Sep 1, 2008 (Dégusté avec french tickler) Une biere de couleur rougatre avec un mince collet moyennement collant. Odeur d’alcohol, cerises, prunes, vinaigre et sucre. Gout un peu sucré, alcohol et raisins.
