Poured a hazy golden colour with full head and some lacing. Citris and apple aroma. Fairly sweet, but a well balanced, great beer.

Bottle, purchased in Brussels. Pours cloudy yellow-amber with a large and fluffy, long-lasting whitish head and good lacing. Sweet and yeasty aroma, like spice bread with coriander, light cloves and citrus. The bread analogy remains for the flavor, like a sweet liquid spice bread dough with mild floral hops stirred in. Full body, smooth and gently carbonated.

Ever so slightly hazy golden colour with a huge white head. Aroma is primarily of citrus fruit with underlying malt. Taste is sweet and alcoholic, with strong alcohol in the finish. Carbonated mouthfeel. Overall, a bit disappointing.

Strong swewet aroma with malt. Clear yellow colour with good head and lacing. Sweet floral malt flavour. Fizzy palate.

It’s somewhat fruity this brew. Nice white head, sticky. It’s boring indeed. But drinkable.

(33cl bottle) Pours a frothy, high white head and a cloudy golden body. Nose of vanilla and fruit. Flavour hides the ABV well but I found the complexity to be underwhelming. Boring for a triple!

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Sweet light yeasty fruity aroma and a sweet light alcoholic taste. Medium body and a sweet alcoholic finish.

I’ve found grimbergen tripel to be a little sticky, too sweet, citrus, fruity.
