bitter hops and caramel. huge fluffy white head but disappears quickly. i would’ve liked the sweetness to be a little less straightforward but good tripel nevertheless

incredibilmente ’leggera’ e beverina per i suoi 9 gradi (non riuscivo a crederci) è una tripel piuttosto economica sotto ogni punto di vista. Niente grandezza, si sente che è industriale, tuttavia è meglio di altre finte birre di abbazia (tipo la Affilgem che non mi pias proprio). Comprata da Squillari, pagata meno di 2 euro, è valsa tutto sommato la pena di assaggiarla, per curiosità. Potabilissima, a mio parere.

Bottle from belgium - Straw colored with excellent clarity and huge white head. Sweet, hoppy fruity aroma. A fruity, citrus flavor with great carbonation and slightly bitter finish. A great beer.

Bottle. Heavy yeasty, bread sweetness, strong citrus and vinegar smell, sparkling wine comesto my mind. The head is small and white, virtually none lacing and mostly dimishing. The yellow body is cloudy/muddy. The flavor is sweet and acetic, medium duration and body with a lively carbonation. Not bad, but a Leffe Bruin or a Floreffe Bruin is more appreciated.

330 ml bottle. A slight unclear orange/yellow beer with a fluffy two finger head. Sweet and acidic fruits to the nose along with some scents of citric hops. Nice fruity bitterness in the flavor; mainly sour apples and pinapple. Lightly spiced. Medium body. Noteable alcohol heath in the mouth. Short acidic-bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle. White label. Pours a clear deep golden with a small head. Fruity sweet caramel toasty malty aroma. Good complex flavour of toasted malt, caramel, fruity hops, some spices, alcohol and a slightl acid touch. Sweet roasty fruity spizzy finish. Great brew!

Garrafa. Tomada em diversos momentos na Europa. Considero a Grimbergen, assim como a Leffe, minha bebida padrão em terras européias. Essa Tripel é bem marcante, encorpada, complexa e altamente agradável.

330 ml bottle. Golden crystal clear colour. A medium-sized white fluffy head with coarser bubbles at the edges. Sugary clean aroma with a thin hoppy sharp edge. Quite typical of a tripel in fact. Smooth texture. Feels very sugary in the mouth, but without being cloying. A well-balanced bitterness keeps the sweetness away. Not bad for a commercial tripel. A bit watery in the finsih though.
