Commercial Description:
Grisette Ambrée revives the tradition of beers consumed in times gone by. This beer, which is darker than the other Grisettes, is also the strongest and most distinctive. It offers the palate a rich taste and has a full-bodied, generous head.

Bottle. Fruity, malty aroma. Flavor has an okay balance, but there’s a tang of essence of almonds, which is quite odd.

(Bottle 25 cl) Beautiful amber coloured and slightly hazy beer with a thick and stable head leaving a subtle lacework. Rather light-bodied with some caramel sweetness from the roasted malt. Discreet bitter finish. 020502

(Bottled) Pinish amber color with a white, firm head, plus lace. Aroma of fruits (peach?) and hints of yeast. The flavor is very acidic, harshly tannic bitter and quite wheaty with some artificial sweetening/coloring substance. Light to medium-bodied, quite carbonated palate. No wonder this isn’t brewed by St.Feuillien...

Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a small off-white head. Fruity floral yeasty aroma and a sweet light caramel perfumed fruity taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.

Clear amber coloured with slim off-white head. Sweet hoppy and malty aroma. Taste is perfumed caramel. Slightly sour and dry. Medium mouthfeel. Unexceptionally OK.

Clear orange-amber, very carbonated, end of bottle fully hazy; yellowish, very fine-bubbled head. Some caramel, coloured malt, rainwater, (wet) straw aroma’s. Caramel flavouring as for candy, but neither sweet, neither roasted. Bit dusty, chaff-like flavour. Light MF, only sensation the carbonation. Pretty dull beer.

An unclear orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast and hops. The flavor is perfumed with notes of berries and slightly sour, leading to a dry end.
