| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 11, 2004 A light Golden color with a huge rocky white head. A grassy scent with some mild spice. The flavor is odd, unfortunately the spice reminds me a bit of an aftershave, this isn't a good thing in a beer. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2004 Bottled (250ml). Pale gold colour. Grassy aroma with some yeast. Clean and fresh, but no great complexity. Essentially this is a good quaffer. But you'd need to buy a few if you were quaffing - not only a Belgian beer under 5%, but in 250ml bottles. Needless to say, this one didn't last long. Although this is badged as a St Feuillen beer, the latest edition of Tim Webb's book suggests it is contract brewed at Heineken's Affligem plant. Incidentally, as well as being a small warbler-like bird, grisette was also 19th century French slang for a sexually active woman of the lower orders. The closest current UK colloquial equivalent is probably slapper.
