Commercial Description:
Scintillating, fresh and delicately flavoured, Grisette Fruits des Bois is a light, refreshing beer that is brewed with the best malt and wheat. This blend creates a riot of sweet yet slightly bitter tastes redolent of wild berries and other exquisite fruits of the forest.

Bottled (from lahoublonniere.be). Ruby red colour with big long lasting pink head. Aroma is raspberries, blueberries, some mild sourish notes. Flavour is red currant, raspberry, black currant, blackberry and some sour wooden notes as well. Rather sweet, which makes it best while cold.

Bottle. A cloudy deep red beer with a huge, quite persistent, pink head. The aroma is sweet and sugary with notes of raspberries and blueberries, but also sourish, medicinal and skunky. Very cloying nose. The flavour is, no surprise, very sweet and sugary with a medium acidity and hints of berries. Medium body, lively carbonation, quite long finish with no bitterness. Excessively sweet and syrupy, nice appearence, but totally cloying and unpleasant for me.

Bottle. Huge thick red foamy head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy red color. Fruit punch, mild vinegar, citrus, yeast, cherry. Over the palate came sour candies, fresh strawberries, sugary feel. Light bodied with an average carbonation and somewhat thin texture. Moderated sweet flavor, mild acidic. Fresh citrus fruity finish.

Bottle, bought @ Barley Wine, Cph.
Deep red with a medium, quickly disappearing, pink, frothy head. Heavy fruity aroma with lots of berries. Red currants, raspberries and blackberries. Lively mouthfeel, quite thin. Flavour is a bit weird at first, then some weak fruitiness. Quite a watery and dull finish.

25cl bottle. Pours ruby red witha rosée head. Aroma is very fruity, filled with berries. Taste is sugary / malt, wheat. Bottle also indicates 25% use of real berries juice. Very fruity, refreshing, but with a little malt in the aftertaste. A little sour in the finish.
