Commercial Description:
Scintillating, fresh and delicately flavoured, Grisette Fruits des Bois is a light, refreshing beer that is brewed with the best malt and wheat. This blend creates a riot of sweet yet slightly bitter tastes redolent of wild berries and other exquisite fruits of the forest.

Tap. A’ite, everyone else bashes this stuff, but I liked it. Maybe I’m just so burned out on horridly unbalanced stuff here that this tastes comparatively decent? Violet, small head. Rich aroma of strawberries and raspberries, and chuck in a few cherries for the flavor. Thick, sweet mouthfeel. Most prominently raspberry. I feel like I’m going to bite in a little seed that will get stuck between my teeth.

Deep hazy rosy red coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of sweet raspberries and strawberries with wheat. Light-bodied; Super sweet flavour of caster sugar, fruits and a bit of yeast - very nice & sweet. Aftertaste shows more sweetness with some pale malt coming through. Overall, a great beer - very sweet but definitely showing character! I sampled this beer on draught at Chez Moeder Lambic in Bruxelles, Belgium on 28-December-2007.

Draft @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Unclear red, almost flourescent body, small pink head. Very fruity aroma of berries, strawberry, raspberry, cherry and some slight sourness. The flavor has a very gentle sour touch and then all the different kind of berries. Very thin bodied, but easy drinkable. I really liked this one, its light body is very pleasant. Like a fruit lambic, without the lambic.

Top-fermented, raspberry-hued fruit beer with a rocky pink head. Yes, pink. Raspberry and sugar dominate, but there’s just enough sharpness and acidity in the finish to make this a refreshing summer quencher, as opposed to cloyingly sticky. Raspberry in the nose, of course. But hats off to the pinkness.

Hazy reddish hue, with a big rocky pink head, leaving laces. The nose is one of an intense raspberry aroma, with a note of wildberries, yeasty, with a mild wheaten accent, because the base of the beer, is a" bière blanche", follows through on a medium-bodied palate, with a sweet raspberry purée character, sweet candy note, with a slightly touch of acidity. Finishes with a blast of fruitiness, a sweet fruity refreshing beer for the hot days of summer or also for accompagning great desserts.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting pink head. Clear ruby body. Berries aroma, mainly raspberries, sweet and promising. Bitter sweet berries with low carbonation and a long aftertaste. Nicely balanced and far from being as sweet as feared.
