On tap in Maine. Balanced aroma and flavor of juicy hops, some citrus hops and caramel malts. Nice body and good fluffy white head. Flavor has a hint of pine some more juicy citrus hops and toasted malts. Fresh off the draft, pretty solid but had a slight lingering bitterness.

Nov 28, 2009 Caramel malts and loads of delicious toastiness in the mouth with a good, whole mouth dryness too. Fruity too. Very dry with plenty going on.

Alc. 6.7%. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, citrus - orange, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090804]

Looks like an American IPA, drinks more like a bitter but with a little more alcohol and a decent bitter finsh. Honestly, that’s all I wrote.

Oct 2, 2009 12oz bottle. Poured a medium and lightly hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, some citrus, and toasted graininess. Tastes of floral hops, toasted breadiness, and caramel.

Sep 28, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark mahagony with light brown head; plenty of head. Not the aroma I was expecting for an ipa, this one is clearly quite malty. Caramel prominent and sweet corn. Taste reveals a balanced blend of caramel malts and hops. I actually find this beer quite pleasent, but it’s not an ipa.
