(bottle - 12 oz) Clear orange color with a thin layer of white head. Aroma is rather buttery with hints of butterscotch, caramel, and sweet malts. Flavor is light at the beginning with some sweet malts, caramel, and a light bitter flavor underneath the whole thing. Bitter aftertaste that lingers for a while.

Bottle. Light orange/copper color. Light, sudsy foam with light carbonation bubbling from the bottom. Flavorful, 3 part taste. Wheaty, with good blend of malts and hops. Very smooth, even finish. Eminently drinkable.

Wow, the jury is still out on this one. I’m not sure what to make of it. On one hand, it has a very fresh and balanced flavor, ending in a nicely dry but gentle bitterness. On the other hand, it’s really nothing more than a slightly fancier version of Bass Ale; and the grassy flavor is pretty prominent.

12oz bottle. BB May ’06. Poured a medium amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of butterscoth, caramel, and floral. Tastes of caramel and floral. Sweet. Thin body but overall easy to drink.

Best before Dec. 06. Pours amber into a shaker. Micro off-white head leaves no lacing as it recedes. Slight muddy sock notes. Flat, frat basement flavors with dry lasting bitter butterscotch finish. Sessionable.

Bottle. Amber colored (little more red than amber actually) with a small white head. Aroma is mostly bready sweet and some hops. Flavor is light but decently malty and has a good bitter dry finish. Aftertaste of caramel and butterscotch.

This is a really nice bitter especially when you go to the brewery to get it. Found on cask, it is awesome! Definitly worth a nice trip to Maine!
