On tap at the Freeport brewpub. Like most of the beers at Gritty’s this one is good though nothing spectacular.

From a 12 fl. oz. bottlewith an expiration date of May-June 2009. The pour is a rusty tone or copper with some beige head. It is a tad cloudy. Pleasing aroma of strong malts and something citrus-like. The mouthfeel is pretty decent; I’d say about average to above average. A bitter, somewhat sour taste and finishes dry. Although this is my first review of it I have been drinking this one for several years and enjoyed it.

bomber from a trade with cletus. pours hazy amber with an everlasting white head. aromas are hoppy and yeasty. not typical of a bitter. flavours are kind of all over the place. hops, pale malt, honey, yeast all kind of smashed together. there are no off flavours in this but it is kind of a mess. not very true to style but not bad.

Bottle from World of Beer, Clearwater, FL. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hoppy and small malt aroma. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

Pours a three-fingered cream head that quickly fades to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Slight hoppy nose. Flavor is sweet honey that fades to a light bitter finish. $1.75 for a 12oz bottle from Barb’s Beer Emporium Concord, NH.
